A guide developed by a coalition of education experts to empower the education sector to drive action for the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
Learning for Life: Mobilizing Education for the Global Biodiversity Framework is intended for educators, trainers, NGOs, youth organizations, and higher education institutions involved in formal and nonformal education. It aims to help the education sector engage with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and support its implementation through education and awareness building. The guide provides practical tools, advocacy strategies, and examples to integrate biodiversity education into programs and National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs). The guide includes an overview of the GBF and education’s role in achieving its goals, and offers actionable insights and case studies of innovative approaches and partnerships that embedding biodiversity education in diverse learning contexts.
